Hi, I’m Mike Richards, the owner and director of Cedar Tree Pods. If you’ve landed on this page, you’re probably seriously considering investing in a glamping campsite or already in the business. My journey started with glamping pods about fifteen years ago.  I began as a carpenter because I have a genuine passion for crafting structures from wood. Watching my father, a master craftsman, create beautiful kitchens, certainly influenced my career path, and one day, together we went to see a pod for sale, and the rest is history.

Family holds great importance to me, and I’m fortunate that my father, wife, brother, and daughter all agreed to work alongside me to bring my vision of building exquisite glamping timber structures to life. Today, we have an extended family of 20 working within our business.

The designs I create on paper must be flawlessly translated into reality. We build with commercial use in mind, knowing that your campsite will have heavy foot traffic, so our pods and lodges are built to last.

Design, craftsmanship, and uncompromising quality are my driving passions. At our core, we are carpenters first and businessmen second. We are committed to using only the finest materials and maintaining the highest standards because anything less would be pointless.

We provide nationwide delivery throughout the UK, and for locations with poor access, we offer a build on-site service.
